Cebastian Gentil, Peter Smith, Jason Gomez and Darius Kipyego led Iowa State to a fourth consecutive men's 4x800-meter relay victory in 7:17.47 at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Iowa State became the first men's program to win at least four in a row since Kansas secured five straight titles from 1958-62.
